3 More from ZZ Top for Sunday Jams & Dusty

We had to revisit ZZ Top for Sunday Jams again this week in honor of Dusty Hill who passed on recently. Dusty was not just the bass player for the group, he was one of the main driving forces of the group.

If you’ve seen the recent documentary about ZZ on Netflix (which you should) you’ll realize just how important Dusty Hill was to formation of the group and its continued success. ZZ Top is unlike most groups. It really is a trio. Three guys who drive everything. It’s a wonderful thing and deserves to be celebrated.

Hopefully the two remaining members can continue on in some fashion now that Dusty is gone. I truly think that’s what he would have wanted.

Dusty Hill. Gone too soon. Thank you for the music.
