“I am devastated by reports that the American government is pulling out of Kabul and leaving behind brave U.S. military contract working dogs to be tortured and killed at the hand of our enemies,” Robin Ganzert said in a statement.

Military spokesmen are pushing back on the accusations, calling the reports “erroneous.”

This is where I jump in. I’m gonna want proof. Proof that these military service animals are okay. Guess what? I’m never going to get it. I totally believe that the way this pull out from Afghanistan was managed, it’s highly likely that dogs were left behind. Just look at all the other stuff the Biden administration left! People! U.S. citizens! The billions of dollars of equipment! Helicopters and weapons! Are we supposed to think they took the dogs? They left ALL that other shit but remembered to rescue the animals? Yeah. I call bullshit.

The very idea of leaving dogs behind is especially horrifying. They are helpless. Machinery can be blown up. People left behind MIGHT just have a chance. At least they know the danger. They’re aware of what’s going on. Dogs have no clue. They’re just confused. Locked in cages and waiting for help that never comes. It’s infuriating. The idea enrages me. Who would do that? Who could even consider it?

The military says it’s not true. They say all the animals are out. Prove it. They know precisely how many service dogs were over there. Let’s see an accounting. If they’re safe? Show me.
