Leaked Phone Call Between Biden & Afghan Prez. Ghani, Joe Was Concerned with Changing ‘Perception’

In a stunning report from Reuters, when the Afghan prez. was warning Biden of the imminent danger from the Taliban, Biden was focused on press conferences and the “perception” of the problem. Kinda cray cray, yes?

Here’s just a sample of the Reuters piece. We’ll link the full article below.

In much of the call, Biden focused on what he called the Afghan government’s “perception” problem. “I need not tell you the perception around the world and in parts of Afghanistan, I believe, is that things are not going well in terms of the fight against the Taliban,” Biden said. “And there is a need, whether it is true or not, there is a need to project a different picture.”

Biden told Ghani that if Afghanistan’s prominent political figures were to give a press conference together, backing a new military strategy, “that will change perception, and that will change an awful lot I think.”

So, Ghani knows the shit is about to go down and Biden is mostly discussing politics. Seems about par for the course. Was Ghani that inept at conveying the imminent threat? Was Joe just giving him lip service? And it looks to have been only a 14 minute call. What the what? You’d think it would have been a bit longer. I wouldn’t have hung up unless I KNEW help was on the way. Maybe Ghani thought it was a lost cause and just decided to skip town when he realized Joe didn’t have his back.

Here’s the Reuters piece.

Surprising that Hunter’s dad, a lifelong liar, encouraged Ghani to lie? Not in the least. I’m curious what other advice he gives world leaders.

Welcome to the Democrat Utopia folks.

And isn’t asking a leader to lie or misrepresent the truth, kind of a bad thing? Like an impeachable thing?
