There’s a new piece of legislation in Florida. The Parental Rights in Education bill. Although you probably heard of it referred to as the ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill. There has been an absolute fury over this proposed law. Now before we get to the one big question we have, it’s worth noting what the bill actually says. The bill, titled Parental Rights in Education, states that lessons about sexual orientation are banned outright in kindergarten through third grade. It also prohibits lessons in other grades unless they are “age-appropriate and developmentally appropriate.”
So, to recap: No sex ed lessons for kindergarteners through 3rd graders.
Now for the big question: Who is against that? Who decided they had to organize resistance to sex education to little kids? Someone out there read this bill and immediately jumped into action to try to stop it. Why? And that’s a serious question. Why? What is the downside of this bill? Frankly it’s super concerning that this legislation needed to be written, but what’s more concerning is someone is against it! Who is in favor of sex ed for kindergarteners? That is beyond disturbing. But what else is just jacked up beyond the beyond is the organized pushback they have been able to put together. The media, Hollywood and even Disney are opposed to the bill. Disney! Family friendly Disney. https://www.breitbart.com/entertainment/2022/03/12/disney-ceo-bob-chapek-grovels-to-lgbtq-employees-i-let-you-down-i-am-sorry/
There was so much pressure to be against what most people would deem a commonsense bill that the CEO of Disney apologized for not condemning the bill. What in the actual hell is going on? You mean to tell me that the CEO of Disney wants to have 5 year olds learn about sex? Does he want that for his kid? We’re guessing no. We’re guessing most sane people don’t think its age appropriate. Who in their right mind thinks it’s a good idea? That’s what we want to know. Who is organizing the push back to this bill? Whoever it is? They have some real issues or the most jacked up agenda in the history of agendas.
