Let’s take a break from all the Hollywood slap fight talk to discuss THIS little tidbit. Did Ketanji Brown Jackson just get caught lying? That seems a bit newsy. It would seem as though the answer is yes. One would think that lying to Senators during a Supreme Court nomination hearing would be a story we should take a peek at.

During questions from Sen. Cruz, there were several exchanges about critical race theory being taught in schools-

“Is critical race theory taught in schools? Is it taught in kindergarten through twelfth [grade]?” Cruz questioned Jackson.

“I don’t know. I don’t think so,” she responded. “I believe it’s an academic theory that is at the law school level.”

While Jackson denied to Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) that Critical Race Theory (CRT) is taught at the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS)-affiliated GDS during last week’s Senate confirmation hearing, the school demands that all parents sign a form called “New Enrollment Contract Clause,” which states the school has “made a commitment to work actively against individual and systemic racism.”

See, that’s so weird because KJB is on the board of a school that sent notices to parents that they had to sign for enrollment. KJB herself signed the notice… hmmm.

So, she’s signing notices about CRT being taught at Georgetown Day school, where she is on the board but thinks it’s only being taught in law school. Hmmmm.
