Hey everybody! Look at this! It’s the trailer for HBO’s House of the Dragon! …Look! …Check it out… yay. That’s the feeling we’re left with. You start mildly interested and then you decide it’s not really worth it. Yes, it’s a trailer. But what are we supposed to get excited about? Dragons? Been there, done that. I mean dragons are always kind of cool but what makes this different? Everything about the trailer for House of the Dragon feels familiar and not in a good way. We’re just reminded of the heartbreak of the last season of Game of Thrones. I’m still pissed about that fiasco. Now HBO thinks they can sling a couple of beauty shots of dragons and some actors in blonde wigs around and we’ll be chomping at the bit? Nope. I think I’ll pass. Thanks.
