(No spoilers) It would appear as though we are all in for a treat. Neil Gaiman’s The Sandman is coming to Netflix and this trailer looks legit awesome. Now for those of you unfamiliar, The Sandman is a hugely popular series of graphic novels. Originally the series was published starting in 1989 and it ran through 1996. Fans have been waiting for live action adaptation ever since. There was talk of a movie but thankfully that deal never came to fruition. The Sandman was made for a series and not a one off. Netflix is now the happy benefactor. Let’s just cross our fingers and hope Mr. Gaiman was an active producer and kept everyone true to the source material. The Sandman comes to Netflix August 5.
