Here’s an interesting little story. A town in North Carolina just had its entire police force quit. Yup. The chief of police and the five officers in the town of Kenly North Carolina all gave notice in protest of the newly hired “progressively responsible” town manager, Justine Jones. The cops claim the newly hired Jones was creating a “hostile work environment”. Oh, and the assistant town manager along with a key clerk also quit.

So, what in the Sam Hill is going on? Specifics are hard to come by, but we got guess. I’m not a huge gambler but the strong suspicion for me is “Get Woke, Go Without Police”. I have a feeling the town of Kenly and it’s cops have things pretty much dialed in. They know what works and what doesn’t. You don’t hear a lot about the skyrocketing crime in Kenly N.C. Then someone decided to hire a town manager with a ‘woke’ resume and things were bound to go downhill fast.

It’s a good reminder that no one, no town, no business will be immune to the new ‘wokeness’ that is everywhere. If it’s not in your town or job? Just wait. It’s coming. Although to be fair, I could be wrong. Maybe they all quit over something that was said in a McDonalds parking lot. You never know. The whole ‘woke’ thing is just a guess.
