This is one for the ages. Recently the Gov. of California announced the state would ban the sales of traditional cars and only allow electric vehicles as of 2035. So, get ready everybody! California is going all electric cars in just over ten years! Won’t that be great! Unless you can’t charge them because of a lack of electricity. It would be so much funnier if it wasn’t real life. But here we are. Shortly after California made their big electric car announcement, they followed up warnings not to charge.

Huh… that would kind of seem like problem. That tends to interfere with your freedom of movement. Big Brother tells you what kind of vehicle you’re allowed to have then won’t let you use it. The govt. making these decisions about your basic freedoms is beyond the beyond. We can’t let this happen. It’s absurd. It doesn’t stop with cars either. These underprepared morons can now decide what the temperature of your house is. They can override your thermostat and set it to whatever temperature they see fit. In Colorado the energy company Xcel just did that very thing. Sorry kids, our energy grid sucks, so enjoy a 90-degree house in the middle of a heat wave. Don’t like it? Tough shit.
The green energy people have no problems making huge sweeping declarations. They do seem to have a big problem with delivering actual electricity. That’s a bit of a problem.
