This should be a thrilling day for fans of equality around the world, Italy has elected its first female Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni. Isn’t that what it’s all about? Breaking glass ceilings and all that historical stuff? That’s what we always hear anyway. But the outpouring of joy over the new Prime Minister seems more than a bit… muted, shall we say? If anything, the media seems scared of Giorgia Meloni. The Guardian ran a headline saying she’s a danger to Italy and Europe! Damn. Why? Is it because she openly is Pro- Italy? Is her faith? Or is it her lack of faith in the E.U. and the ‘globalists’? That seems more likely. She’s Italy first. Good for her. Good for the people of Italy! You should decide what’s best for you and your countrymen, not some paper pushing banker who has a wacky idea about how things should work in theory. Nope.
