Silent Hill 2 is getting the remaster treatment after what seemed like a lifetime. SIlent Hill is a horror game series that saw its best addition to the series…Silent Hill 2. Silent Hill 2 is widely regarded as one of the best horror games ever made and it was definitely a groundbreaking title both technical and story level back when it released on the playstation 2 in September of 2001.

This remake of Silent Hill 2 is staying true to the story, as you would expect. After receiving a letter from his dead wife, James Sunderland (you) make your way to the town of Silent Hill in an attempt to find her. A lot of crazy things happen and it is one hell of a wild ride! Also, here are a couple fun facts about the game company who created the game, Konami, and the man who directed them, Hideo Kojima. Konami and Kojima also created the Metal Gear Solid franchise which was an insane leap in gaming technology back in the day. Kojima created another horror game in 2014, way after Silent Hill, called P.T. which, rumor has it, was so terrifying they took it out of all stores and never let people download it. Konami made it unable to be installed on playstations as well. Very spooky!

No release date is known for the Silent Hill 2 remake at this time. However, it is known that the game will be available on playstation only until 12 months after its release, after a year the game will be available on xbox.
