Honesty time. I knew next to nothing about Warhammer 40,000 until about a week ago. The Hollywood trades announced that Henry Cavill was out of The Witcher. Then he was going to come back as Superman. Then he was out as Superman. Fucking bonkers week! Then Mr. Cavill, in a total boss move, announced he would be bringing Warhammer 40k to Amazon. Very cool. But what is Warhammer 40K? What’s the lore? Just what makes it ‘show’ worthy? Well, as I started doing research, I found out why. Let’s just say I’m digging what I’m seeing. Now I’m not going to bog you down in a shit ton of lore. Here’s all you need to know… ready? Warhammer 40,000 is set in the distant future, where a stagnant human civilization is beset by hostile aliens and supernatural creatures. Tada! We should be all set. If you want to see more?
