Here it comes. The Dead Space reboot. Coming to a console near you January 27th. Are ya pumped? Are you excited? We aren’t. Just being honest. Sure, the trailer looks fun, this issue we have is story. Now once upon a time, Dead Space was the shit. Not insanely original, but we dug it. But since the OG Dead Space, how many other games have used variations of this incredibly tired premise? It’s worse than beating a dead horse. This is beating an undead horse. Maybe fans of Dead Space give this one a pass because of the re-launch factor. I dunno. If Dead Space is your jam? Have a great time, discovering the doctors secret agenda… getting trapped at the lowest level of the base… trying to get out after a couple of misleads… running out of time to save humanity… yawn. These plots are so tired! But enjoy! We’ll probably be over here playing Elden Ring or some other game that isn’t so incredibly predictable.
