Elon Musk and other tech leaders just called for a pause on all Artificial Intelligence systems. This seems important. Know why? Because it is. For years we at The Loftus Party have been concerned about A.I. systems and we’re glad to hear about this call to action by Musk and other tech leaders. A.I. is a genie you do not what out of the bottle until you have insane levels of control and safety measures. The speed in which A.I. learns and adapts is mind boggling. The human brain won’t be able to keep up. This won’t be like a movie. This will be something unimaginably bad for humanity. Which each passing day the danger gets closer and closer. Now for our big question: What just happened? What did Elon Musk just see to push this to the forefront? Mr. Musk has been developing his own A.I. for a while now and if you were to ask me, I think his A.I. just did or said something that scared the shit out of him. Maybe they caught it in the middle of something nefarious. We hope to learn more as soon as possible. We will say this though: When people like Musk who know these A.I. systems tell you to pause. You pause. Big time. Everything depends on it.
