Hope you’re doing better than fine! (What’s that? Copyrighted content?) Sorry. I’ve just been informed that “better than fine” is exclusive property of Michael Loftus. Let’s try this again.
Hope you’re having a great weekend! This last week was a fun one. The Bud Light debacle was a goldmine. California Senate hopeful, Katie Porter potatoed her ex-significant other and Elon Musk spanked a BBC hack.
Katie Porter – the pugnacious Representative from California and candidate for Senate is facing accusations of scalding her ex-husband with potatoes. My understanding is that in California Democratic politics, this is a net plus.
First up, the Spud.

Next up, the Stud. Elon was interviewed by the BBC. If you’re a “controversial” figure (i.e. have any libertarian or mildly conservative view), you can predict the hostility that’s about to hit you.
So a lazy reporter hit Elon Musk with the lazy talking point about failure to police “hate speech”. Well, Elon was having none of it.
Here’s the key part of the interview.
And the memes.

And finally, the Bud Chud. As you may recall, Bud Light really stepped in it by deciding to make Instagram pseudo trans celebrity, Dylan Mulvaney, a brand partner. Their brand VP, overeducated, woke and completely out of touch with, oh I don’t know, beer drinkers, thought Bud Light should be less “fratty” and more “inclusive” as if anyone on the planet chooses a pitcher based on its inclusivity.
The memes were excellent and plentiful.

This week was their attempt at damage control. It didn’t go over so well.

See you next week!
One last thing. Check out the meme creators. Most watermark their memes. Ones that don’t belong to Davar Echad, one of my Twitter favorites.
Buy a St. Pauli Girl at least you know what’s up the skirt.
very true. Is that company owned by AB too?
