Wow. Here’s the new Trailer for The Flash. This one got us thinking. Thinking about what might have been for DC. How quickly the tides turn in Hollywood. And how scandals are so easily avoided if you have a ‘hit’ movie and the powers that be desperately need a hit. Now let’s get into it. I’m a DC fan. I have wanted ALL their movies to succeed. However, Warner Bros or DC or both just keep fucking up. Franchise after franchise. Every time. It’s amazing. Now here comes The Flash movie. An adaptation of Flashpoint. A fantastic comic. Just great. And it this trailer looks wonderful! Michael Keaton, Ben Affleck, Zod. Damn! It’s gotta kinda hurt Ben Affleck and Michael Shannon (Zod) They should have been part of huge franchises. Just tons of potential there. Oh well, what might have been. Right? The really weird part of all this is the Ezra Miller as Flash. Are we supposed to forget his recent troubles with the law? Here’s a list compiled by People Mag. It’s a lot. Evidently, Studios and Hollywood can get past anything if they need a ‘hit’ badly enough. Can’t afford to reshoot? Call in some favors with the media and pretend it never happened! Tada! That shit still works! It’s like 1950’s Hollywood all over again! So, let this serve as a reminder: The media only goes after the people they want to go after. If it’s not in their interest? They let it slide. The Flash hits theaters June 16th.
