Really held off on doing a video about Oliver Anthony, but I couldn’t take it anymore. Dude crushed it with “Rich men north of Richmond”. He makes some really good music. That should be enough. How about everyone just leaves it at that for a while? Stop analyzing Oliver Anthony. Don’t try to figure out every little thing. Don’t try to co-opt the songs for your own purpose. Just leave it be and let the guy make more music. Enough with all of B.S. that is surrounding the man right now. Every time you turn around there’s another article or hot take or half baked ‘controversy’ about Oliver Anthony. Just stop. My sincere apologies for adding to the noise, but it was legit bugging me.
