You gotta see this to believe it. Maybe you’ve heard the phrase “If you allow the government to break the law for an ’emergency’, they will create ’emergencies’ to break the law.” Well, it looks like we have a solid case of that going on in New Mexico. The Governor has declared an emergency over gun violence. Now she’s saying no one is allowed to carry a gun in Albuquerque for 30 days. Gotta license for concealed carry? Sorry. Want to defend your life? Self-defense? Nope. She won’t allow it. What in the actual fuck? Who does this chick think she is? She might want to go back and read the constitution. No, she needs to go back and read the constitution. Does she think the criminals who are doing the shooting are going to follow her little emergency order? And if you follow her logic, how many other emergencies can she delcare and just make up laws or bans to protect people from? Could there be a car emergency? No more driving anywhere for 30 days?
