Here we go. It’s billed as a debate about the trans movement. Neil deGrasse Tyson vs the fellas from Triggernometry. We don’t know who is in charge of editing, so we’ll give Neil deGrasse Tyson a bit of slack. We’re cool like that. Now, Neil seems to get quite emotional for a guy who’s all about ‘Science’. If you didn’t know better, you’d think Konstantin Krisin and his cohost were the ‘men of letters.’ Maybe Neil is just a passionate fella.

Now for the part that drove me bonkers. The question no one seems to flat out ask: What about the rights of women? Everyone seems incredibly concerned about the rights of trans people to use any bathroom and play on any team etc. What about the rights of the women? Biological women. Do their rights become null and void the instant a trans woman walks through the door? It’s wild how very few people take women’s rights into account in the whole trans debate. And for the record: Personally, I give zero shits how you live your life or how you want to be perceived on a day-to-day basis. (Honestly, I have more important shit to worry about.)
