Here’s the trailer for the new flick, Godzilla x Kong. This is the sequel to Godzilla vs Kong so this one is being called Godzilla x Kong. We’re guessing the ‘x’ stands for ‘Times’ as in a math problem? They aren’t fighting now. So, their collective power is multiplied? Is that it? Oh, well, I really don’t care. Here’s what I do care about: A flipping semi-brainless monster romp of a movie. A destruction fueled piece of cinema with Kong and Godzilla. Now it still needs a good story. They still need to provide that. But I’ll give the filmmakers tons of leeway. It can all be set in a hollow earth, I don’t care.

What does give me reason to pause is, the color scheme of Godzilla. Did the king of the monsters go pink? Like, a purple pink? Is that the way they’re going? Is the KING of the monsters ditching blue for pink? Now, once upon a time, blue was a boy color and pink was meant for girls. Just ask Barbie. She’ll tell ya. So, my question is this: Is Godzilla transitioning? Does the King of the Monsters have a secret he wants to tell us about? Or is this the studio behind the movie preparing to shoot themselves in the cash cow’s foot? Nothing would make me laugh more than Trans-Zilla. That would be hilarious. Now I’m kind of hoping they do it. Just to watch the reaction. It’d be like a documentary after the movie! Here’s the trailer for Godzilla x Kong. It hit’s theaters on April 12, 2024.
