I didn’t watch the Oscars. I DID however watch the reaction to the Oscars on social media. Here’s the plot twist that I find very amusing: Ryan Gosling and ‘Ken’ stole the spotlight from Barbie last night. Dude performed the song “I’m just Ken” from the Barbie movie. The whole point of Ken and the song is that Ken is considered ‘less than.’ Barbie is supposed to be the star. Hell, during the opening weeks of Barbie, it was all about the box office fight between the Barbie Movie and Oppenheimer. Hollywood and the PR machine made it a boy’s vs the girls’ contest. Well, after last night, Oppenheimer has its share of Oscars and everyone on social media is talking about Ryan Gosling and Ken. It’s a hilarious little twist of fate. Here’s the performance of “I’m just Ken” from last nights Oscars. It’s a good song! Gosling killed it. And no, I haven’t seen the Barbie movie. I’m certain it has lots of fans.
