Slash covers Howlin’ Wolfs “Killing Floor” with Brian Johnson and it rocks pretty damn hard. (video)

We’re gonna post both versions, just so you know what I’m talking about. Okay? Good. Now we may commence. We’re all here because we want to hear what Slash and AC/DC frontman, Brian Johnson have done with “Killing Floor”. That’s a quality reason. These dudes can bring some serious thunder. And they did with this cover. This version of ‘Killing Floor’ rocks. Legit rocks. Crank it up an enjoy! I would be lying if I said I didn’t miss the ‘roll’. For me, “Killing Floor” needs that roll. That creeping up on ya swing. It makes the whole song edgier somehow. More dangerous. That’s what you get from the Howlin’ Wolf version. It’s all good though. We’ll post both. You can listen for yourself. Slash and Briann did a bang-up job on ‘killing floor’ and I dig it. And yes, that’s who you think it is on harmonica, Steven Tyler.

got the blast-o-rama and stopped at the link to this, because I love Brian Johnson, and yeah, Slash killed it. Stevie Tyler on the mouth organ was a treat! Then, the thing you said about “the roll”, well, there’s another guy who got my attention when he said that very thing – rock has to have the roll, none other than the great TP.

Yeah! Ya gotta have that roll! TP knows what’s what. Ha!
