Let’s all slow down. Maybe catch our breath and gather our thoughts. Let’s take our time when it comes to banning social media apps and websites. I can definitely understand the desire to ban apps, but we gotta be very careful. Once upon a time, the Patriot Act sounded like a good idea. It would be a temporary thing and it would never be used against Americans. …. And here we are. All these years later still with dealing with all the crap that came out of that. Spying on political candidates and the American people. So, let’s just say that one still needs addressed. But let’s not make matters worse by hustling through some quickly written draft of a TikTok ban that can be abused as easily as falling out of bed or unplugging Parler. Remember Parler? Free speech social media app. Was going to compete with twitter? Well, the powers that be, unplugged it. They shut that shit down. And they still want that power. And it’s very important we don’t allow them to get it. I prefer my news to be actual news and not state approved ‘news’.
