Hey! Here’s the trailer for Transformers One! It’s the new Paramount movie that tells the origin story of Optimus Prime and Megatron! There’s tons to unpack here! Lots to think about and figure out! …or not. What we could do instead is just come to grips with the sad fact that this franchise has been a slow moving trainwreck for ages now. Nothing is canon. The people who own the rights to Transformer get to do whatever they want as long as they have the money. End of Story. To be fair, I gave up on The Transformers as a franchise a long time ago. It has been a systematic, slow death of the Transformers for decades now. So, here’s what I say: Take a look at the trailer for Transformers One. Have a laugh. Enjoy yourself. Or not. It’s a movie. Just don’t think. Don’t hope for things to make sense in some bigger scheme of things. You’ll go crazy and Transformers isn’t worth it. Here’s the Trailer for Transformers One. There are jokes. Things blow up and it’s colorful! That’s good enough for this franchise.

Also worth noting for Transformer Fans. Canon is decided by money. IF this movie does well, which it very well might, that will be the new canon. Until someone else has an idea and they decide they want to do that instead. See: Star Wars & Disney for more on that.
