I’ll just be honest here. Watching Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes isn’t on my schedule. Not that I think it’ll suck, I just don’t feel like I need to see these flicks in the theater. The new Planet of the Apes movies feel like a Netflix or streaming movie now. Did I see the reboot by Tim Burton in the theater? Yeah. After that? Let’s just say my passions cooled for the franchise. And again, I don’t think the movies suck. It’s just not my jam. And that’s why I’m highlighting the critical drinkers review of Kingdom of the planet of the apes. Sounds like he’s in the same boat. The movies are kind of cool. But not compelling enough to get me into a theater. The latest installment of the franchise is doing well at the box office, so good for them!
