What starts off as incredibly unimaginative suddenly gets fun once Beetlejuice hits the screen. Why in the world someone at the Studio thought it would be a good idea for a pre-trailer intro with Winona Ryder talking to the audience just reeks of corporate media. Someone insisted on having an exposition trailer. They felt compelled to fill you in on the story. Did a focus group not understand the plot? That’s the vibe I’m getting. If you can power through the opening? The trailer for Beetlejuice 2 gets good as soon as Keaton shows up. The movie opens on September 6th!
