So “Alien: Romulus” is doing great at the box office. That’s good news for an entertainment industry that’s in desperate need of revitalization. Being that we’re in an era of derivative reboots and a severe lack of writing talent, these critics, who are true genre fans, opinions are extra valuable.
The only critics who matter – Mike and Jay of Red Letter Media give their honest and interesting assessment – great start, awful third act.
The only other media critic who matters – Nerdrotic weighs in. Yep, starts off great, drops dead at the third act.
Remember, these guys, like you, remember the originals and can give a fair assessment of what a current reboot, sequel, prequel, interquel, whateverquel offers.
The only other, other critic whose opinion matters – The Critical Drinker thinks that Alien: Romulus starts out as a great movie but kind of falls apart by the third act.
If I’m being honest, these guys’ reviews are more entertaining than what Hollywood is producing. We hope you enjoy.
