When I say that A.I. entertainment is a legitimate threat to Hollywood, I mean it. It just feels like a matter of time. This A.I. trailer for Xena is a great example. This trailer already has a better plot that Madame Web. How do I know? Sadly, I watched Madame Web last night. I had to see if it was as bad as everyone was saying. It was. From top to bottom, Madame Web was a failure. It didn’t deliver on any level. It was a shocking display of just how bad the entertainment business has become. When I tell you that a person used AI to make a trailer for a Xena movie that is better than Madame Meb, I mean it.
How many more steps do we need to see? The plot points for AI Xena are already more compelling. Now we need a draft of a script. Fire up Chat GPT and have it spit one out. Now bring me a human writer to smooth it out. Make sure everything works and then? Pop the whole thing into an image/video maker. Tada! You’re all done. We can’t do movies that easily… yet. But it’s coming.
As long as Hollywood keeps churning out duds, more people will turn to AI to make entertainment like A.I. Xena. It’s just a countdown to actual movies and not just trailers.
