This one goes out to all the writers and creators. There’s an old saying “you can’t keep something good a secret.” If something is of high quality, it will get discovered. It’s just a matter of time. That seems to be the case with Andor. It’s the Star Wars series that continues to grow in viewership and popularity. While other Disney Star Wars shows are on a downward trend, Andor just keeps putting up bigger and bigger numbers. Why? The answer is simple: It’s actually good. There’s a shock! Honestly, It’s better than good. I would argue that it’s great! Hopefully you’ve seen it. You should.

As a writer of television shows myself and as a Star Wars fan, I’m thrilled with the success of Andor. It didn’t get the massive PR treatment that The Acolyte or Ahsoka got, but it had something more important: A good story with characters we cared about! Andor also didn’t insult anyone’s intelligence. Long story short: It’s a good show. Tada! So, while Disney Star Wars just keeps tripping over themselves to add modern identity politics and all kinds of other BS, Andor quietly told a compelling story and people like it. They like it a lot! The viewership appears to be growing as opposed to fading away like most Disney Star Wars garbage.

We’re glad that Andor is getting the views it deserves. It’s a quality show and you can’t keep that a secret. We’re stoked for season two. It has a release date of Spring 2025.
