It’s as predictable as the tides now. A studio comes out with a new Lord of the Rings show or movie and the producers think they know more than Tolkien. Hint: You don’t. Now it’s Warner Bros turn to fail with War of Rohirrim. We had hopes for this one but sadly have to pass on War of the Rohirrim. It would appear from the reviews I’ve seen that the writers have gone the way of Amazon’s Rings of Power. They are intent on making things up out of whole cloth and largely ignoring what Tolkien himself, wrote. Even as a giant fan of LOTR, I’m going to skip War of the Rohirrim. Just like I skipped the majority of Rings of Power on Amazon.

So, now all eye on are on Peter Jackson and the Hunt for Gollum. It would be poetic justice if Gollum was the one to save the franchise and keep hope alive.
