It’s clip show time! Today, Kash Patel testified in front of the Senate as part of his confirmation hearing to be the next head of the FBI. Was it another exercise in partisan politics? You bet! Was is entertaining? Oh hell, yeah. We’re in a new day and age. Now the only question is: How far will it go? The Politicians want to get their soundbite and the person getting grilled has to decide just how far they can push pack. It’s a game inside a game!
From where I’m sitting, Kash Patel had a great day. He knows the drill. And if anyone cares? I think he’s qualified to head the FBI. They can say whatever they want. Kash Patel should be confirmed. Here’s some of the standout moments from his testimony today.
I chose that last one to close with, because well…it would appear as if we have a very… compromised FBI presently. I just sat that. Having Kash Patel clean it up would be a good thing. And that’s really if we want to keep the FBI around. I don’t think we should. Just my 2 cents.
The nerve of these Senators to question Patel if he would retaliate against those that targeted Trump for eight plus years is just stunning.
In other words, “It’s ok for us to do it, but don’t you dare do it!”.
The fact Durbin, Hirono, Schiff, Klobuchar, et al can get elected and then re-elected to high office in United States government is all the proof we need that a minimum education requirement must be met before being allowed to vote.
It’s been a very eye-opening experience to say the least.
