Well, here it is. The trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps. Let’s have a look and I’ll chime in with some thoughts. I’m coming into this movie with very little info, because frankly, I’ve given up on Marvel. With that being said, I love the retro look. Who knows if this is an alternative universe or just an old school period piece, but I dig the look. Ben looks great. Cast is fine. Galactus? Hell yeah. But that line of dialogue from Sue? “We’ll get through this… as family”. Oof. That was cringy.

The big take away is thing this looks like a movie. The Fantastic Four: First Steps actually looks like cinema. It hits theaters on July 25.
