Here you go. all you lovers of classic animation. To all of you wonderful people just like me. I’m happy to let you know that there’s a restored version of the Studio Ghibi classic, Princess Mononoke coming to Imax theaters on March 26.
If you haven’t seen this one? You’re in for something special. If you have seen it? You’re in for something special as well. I’ve only watched this film at home, and the idea of a restored version in 4K on an Imax screen does get me just a tad stoked.
I’ll air on the side of caution and not talk about the plot. I will say this: It’s a beautifully hand-crafted work of art with a script that doesn’t insult your intelligence, and the cast is top notch. I’m looking forward to seeing this one on the Imax screen.
