Yup. I’m good with this. The Naked Gun with Liam Neeson and Pam Anderson. This is the reboot that could actually work. Liam Neeson is way funnier than most people realize, and Seth Macfarlane is onboard as a producer. So, that’s the good news. Now for a splash of reality: Comedies like The Naked Gun and Airplane are extremely hard to do. The jokes are non-stop. Jim Abrahams and the Zucker brothers are the guys who made this whole genre happen. Airplane, The Naked Gun etc. Doing a movie like The Naked Gun, sounds easy. It is not. I have my fingers crossed for the reboot. We’ll all find out when The Naked Gun hits theaters August 1st.
