Want to sell some comic books? You need to do something to grab some headlines. Kill Superman. Make Robin gay or how about making the Black Panther white? Ha! That’s what Marvel just did and well, here I am, writing a post about it. Marvel’s newest Black Panther is white. And it is turning out to be hilarious! Will Ryan Gosling be cast?

Now your next question is: Will he be white in the next movie? Oh hell, no. This is a comic book we’re talking about. One of those ‘alternate earth comics’. It means nothing to the movie franchise. Having a white, black panther works to sell comics, but don’t expect to see Ryan Gosling as Black Panther. Although now that you mention it, plenty of people have already started that train rolling and we are here for the fun of that!

Now, it’s important to remember that race swapping is a thing. These are fictional characters, and no one should get upset. These things happen.

But you never know what the future holds. Anything is possible I guess.
