Disney Marvel just premiered “Ironheart” on Disney Plus and well, the reviews are very entertaining. Have I seen the show? No. Do I plan on watching? Also no. Ironheart simply doesn’t appear to be my jam. Now, will I watch Gary from Nerdrotic and the Critical Drinker review Ironheart? You bet. And I’ll laugh. It’ll be kind of melancholy, but I’ll laugh.
I don’t want shows to suck. I don’t want actors and crews to worry about their paychecks and bills. But that’s what happens when you put out bad shows. That’s what Disney appears to be in the business off now. Take every beloved franchise and hand it over to a girl boss. It’s boring. And when the writing comes under fire? Ouch. You have a real problem.
They can claim that Ironheart got review bombed. They can blame fans. It’s the same old tired excuses. It doesn’t change the reality. People aren’t watching crap. And Disney Marvel’s Ironheart appears to be more crap. At least the reviews are entertaining.
