Boy, I with this trailer got me excited. It just doesn’t. Netflix rolled out a trailer for all the ‘great’ anime that is coming to the platform and it’s just not doing it for me. Sorry. I understand that they want to build some buzz over these projects, but oof. It’s all just too hit and miss.

Some anime shows on Netflix are wonderful and easy on the eyes with great stories. Others are just simply so bad they’re unwatchable. We need some consistency, Netflix! Devil May Cry was so horrible I couldn’t make it through an episode. The animation was insulting. I legit turned it off. On the other hand, ‘Blue Eye Samurai’ was incredible! Fantastic all the way around.

Maybe I’m asking too much. It doesn’t feel like I am. Fix the animation. Put people in charge who genuinely care about the project. Until that happens, you’re going to have a hard time getting people excited about your announcements. Here’s the trailer for Netflix Anime Expo 2025.
