Good day to you dear reader. Here’s a post about Oasis, the band, their return to greatness, the new tour and how I suddenly find myself cheering for them. Big time. There’s a chance I’m becoming an Oasis fan. I’m definitely loving all the clips I’m seeing from the new tour. What a spectacle. Just an ocean of people jamming out to some high-quality sonic goodness. The tour kicked off on July 4th and the Oasis Live ’25 shows just look and sound incredible.
It should also be said that I didn’t dig these dudes on little bit back in the day. Yeah, I could appreciate the music, but it just wasn’t my jam. But now? All these years later, with the music industry on the ropes and bands just getting screwed over in new and more insidious ways, I am cheering of Oasis. The world of live music needs a big win. Tens of thousands of people showing up for a live show and having an incredible time. Hell yeah.
And it helps that the songs don’t suck. It helps immensely that Oasis sounds great. It looks to be one helluva show! Good for them. Good for us. Good for everyone who loves live music and wants it to thrive. So, yeah, put me down as an Oasis fan. Hell yeah.
