We all know a Kate Porter. We went to school with type. A bigger gal, who pretends to be nice, but they just aren’t good at acting. You can see the mean, just under the surface. You know it there just waiting to pop out. Lord help you if you’ve ever worked with a Kate Porter type. Yikes.

When a person with a temperament like this, gets more power, the worse it gets. The shorter the fuse is before you see the eruption. They can fake being ‘nice’ only for so long. And that time before the reveal of the true self just gets shorter and shorter with power.

The Kate Porter character is so familiar because you see her all the time in movies. From Kathy Bates in Misery to that teacher in the Harry Potter movies. It’s a type! And yeah, it’s all in the eyes. You can’t hide the eyes. This has nothing to do with size. We all love Aunt Bee. She has kind eyes. That was a gentle soul.
