Okay, let’s get into this one. The latest from Disney Star Wars, the trailer for The Mandalorian and Grogu. This trailer kind of makes up for the Super Bowl debacle. That Budweiser parody clip that was just way too cringy. Might post that below just to refresh the memory for you. Or maybe we just let that one die. Oof.
The good news about this new clip? It’s not horrible. Meaning: It kind of looks like a movie. That’s a small victory. But damn, if it still doesn’t look like an episode of the show. The quality of the images and the picture look like Disney Plus. Maybe it’s not too late to run it through another filter to get a more cinematic feel.
Will you go to the theater to watch ‘The Mandalorian and Grogu’ when it opens on May 22nd? Not me. This is a first for yours truly. Going to pass on a Star Wars movie. Well, going to pass on a Disney Star Wars movie. It’ll be streaming in no time and hey! It already looks like a good episode of the show! Win win!
