A happy weekend to you. As the boss might say, ya made it, ya sexy heathens. It was an eventful week while at the same time nothing major happened. So it’s going to be a bit of a mix ‘n’ match kind of TWIM.
Today, you’ll get to see aging hippies and other assorted bored souls standing on streets promoting anti-billionaire messages with manufactured signs funded by (checks notes) billionaires. Oh well, at least they get to go outside and enjoy some fresh air.
Meanwhile, in Hollywood, we learned that Stephen Colbert will be writing one of the spin-off Lord of the Rings movies. We’re not sure what to expect from it, but most are filled with the same dread Gandalf experienced on the bridge of Khazad-dûm.
Oh well, at least it’s “fresh” content.

As the boss mentioned earlier this week, the new Harry Potter HBO series taking the world by storm and along with it Black Snape. It may have started as race-swapping outrage, but now it’s glorious AI and meme spoofs that we’d wager black people would find hilarious. If you are black and reading this, please leave a comment. Hi Gordon! I hope you’re having a great weekend. Ugh! These No Kings protests are such a waste of time . Nothing but childless cat ladies,unemployed Starbucks baristas and old hippies from assisted living facilities being paid by billionaires to schlep manufacted signs around for a bottle of water,boxed lunch and a paycheck. So lame. Speaking of lame,Stephen Colbert writing a LOTR sequel makes me ill. Studios must really be desperate if they are chucking money his way. Let’s just say it. Tiger Woods is the Tiger Woods of crashing cars. Enough said. The Black Snape memes and AI videos were fantastic. The Key & Peele (I love that show!) Mr. Garvey Substitute Teacher meme was hilarious. Right up there with Wendell and Meegan as my fave characters. Well, Marco has had a good run. If it’s the last one,he went out on top with Team America. Thank you for spoiling me and the shoutouts! You never know ,one might pop up. I’m an optimist. I’ve never been to a Buc-ees (I know The Boss is a big fan) but there are so many videos out there from Jolly and other tourists ,I feel like I have. What has happened to Captain Kangaroo?
