It’s April 15th. Tax Day in America. Oh, what a joyous and splendid day it is. All the fun of trying to figure out just how much money you owe Uncle Sam. It’s all the fun of a root canal without the pesky pain meds. But this year, there’s a new spin! Fraud. Tons and tons of fraud that depends on taxpayer dollars!
Sure, the fraud has been going on for ages, but now there’s a certainty of fraud. Yes, we’ve had Doge and Nick Shirley and now tons of others roaming the countryside and finding massive amounts of shenanigans with our money. So, make sure to pay those taxes on time, champ!
We already knew our government wasn’t efficient but now we have a better sense of just how bad things are. So far, we haven’t seen any meaningful change either! So, make sure you file your taxes on time. They need that money. And if you’re late, you get in trouble. Wonder if the same holds true for the fraudsters…. hmmm.
We’re just skimming through the most recent reports too. It’s billions here and billions there, not to mention the ‘Aid’ we still send abroad. Anyway… better file those taxes today. They are counting on that money.
