Here we have it folks, the final trailer for Disney Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu. Take a look for yourself. I know I certainly watched it. I’ll just go ahead and throw my 2 cents in now: This is bleak. It’s not the death blow for Star Wars, but it’s not going to be good news for the franchise either.
The Mandalorian and Grogu feels like a cash grab. Just a way to try and keep Star Wars relevant in pop culture. Oof. That was probably the plan from jump street. Just give the dumb fans a movie and try to get back some of the money you lost on all the shitty Star Wars series. And I don’t think that plan is going to work. The lack of excitement about this flick is tangible. This trailer only has 3.8 million views as of today.
Disney has a major Star Wars problem, and I don’t think The Mandalorian and Grogu is going to be the fix they need. The movie opens May 22.
