It’s the Red Hot Chili Peppers on Sunday Jams!
Back when alternative rock was ruling the airwaves, RHCP hit the scene – mixing those funky basslines with psychedelic vibes.
Formed in Los Angeles in 1982, these legends stormed the alt-rock world and owned it for decades. They battled through some serious drug addiction struggles. But that realness and resilience? It fueled some of their biggest, most soul-shaking hits. Comb the comments in their YouTube videos, you’ll be sure to see there are folks still out there today sending them thanks for their music.
And let’s not forget the awesome Hollywood cameos. Anthony Kiedis dropping in on Point Break, and Flea hilariously stealing scenes as Needles in Back to the Future Part II & Part III.
Check out some of these groovy hits by RHCP this beautiful Sunday!
Breaking The Girl

Bonus track!! (Also, an excellent song to make out to… ha!)
If you are interested in more RHCP, there is a new documentary about the band on Netflix: The Rise of the Red Hot Chili Peppers: Our Brother, Hillel.
Hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend!!
Serena, Excellent choice for Sunday Jams. Red Hot Chili Peppers are probably one of the most eclectic bands in music history. Their songs run the gambit from straight funk to a California groove vibe. They’ve never been boring. RHCP have been through their trials and tribulations with addiction and have come out the other side to make some fantastic music. You highlighted some great songs for everyone to enjoy. I saw Flea just did a jazz album. An awesome Sunday Jams!
