Oh, California. How much do all love the fraud? With what has been going in the golden state lately, it looks like you love it a lot. Like, a whole lot. Lawmakers in Cali seem to be going out of their way to protect the systems that keeps all these wacky boondoggles going.
If an investigative journalist finds a bunch of fraud? Cali gets moving with what many are calling the ‘Stop Nick Shirley Act’. It’s wild. It’s as if they want to keep the people of California from knowing just how bad things are. It would be so much funnier if it wasn’t really happening. But wait! There’s also election stuff too! Let’s cover it all!
Now if that isn’t a bad enough look, just wait till you hear about the election stuff.
As to the amount of money involved in the California fraud? Some are saying as much as $280 Billion. That is our money. Wouldn’t you want some Journo to track that down? We’re talking about hundreds of billions! It is insane.
It just goes on and on and on.
But lord help ya if you try to investigate. Cali will come up with a ‘law’ to try and stop you. I’m starting to feel like the Gavin Newsom fellow and his lawmaker friends in California might be just a tad on the grifty side. Just a tad.
It looks like there is a lot of conniving and as Western PA football folks call it “a whole lot of trickeration” going on in California right now. It’s shocking to me that California is so desperate to keep independent journalist like Nick Shirley and others from reporting on fraud in their state that they are trying to use Mia Conte’s “Safe At Home” legislation as a roadblock. All we hear from liberals is freedom of the press is under attack. This is a blatant violation of the First Amendment and should be challenged up to the Supreme Court. Just in time for the elections, Newsom and his buddies have swiftly passed a slew of legislative protections for all the wrong people ,ensuring their elections will be rigged and not subject to any sort of audits. I hope the DOJ will be suing to stop this insane abuse of fair elections. You know that no one is accountable with our tax dollars in California when you have the Romanian gangs (folks not to be trifled with), death row inmates and Memphis rap groups signing up for unemployment benefits and Medi-Cal being defrauded out of billions by fake hospice shell companies. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could have someone investigating all of this and post it on X and other social media to let us all know how our money is being stolen. The fine folks in the California legislature certainly don’t think so and are doing everything in their power to stop it. It’s all so insane and passes as a normal day in California government. It’s unreal.
And we will award you all the bonus points for the use of “Trickeration”! Wonderful use of a fantastic word! I truly believe that if we eliminate all the fraud, waste and abuse we could get rid of income tax. Screw these people and their trickeration. (Was that John Madden who came up with that one?
The word “trickeration” was coined by Cab Calloway in a song of the same name in 1931 about the Harlem jazz and dance clubs. The famous boxing promoter,Don King,used to use it from time to time in interviews and promotions. But I think it really took off when John Madden started using it during football games. It’s a fun word!
