Paris on fire. What could possibly cause this?

Paris is burning. Or should I say it’s 2026 and Paris is burning. Or better yet, there were riots recently. Paris seems to burn a lot these days. So, what happened to cause all this destruction? Let’s dig deep and try to figure this out. They say the riots were caused by a sporting event. Hmmm. Interesting. Let’s take a look.

Some are saying it’s a soccer celebration. Let’s compare and contrast.

I think we’re all glad they didn’t lose. Now, is there a chance this isn’t about a game? Some say, yes.

How did they celebrate in Poland?

Interesting. Maybe the chant has something to do with soccer? I don’t speak French.

It’s probably just a crazy coincidence. We’ll let the French authorities figure out. They’ve been doing a bang-up job.

I wasn’t surprised about what happened in Paris. It, like a lot of European cities, has dealt with riots. My parents lived there for a short time and were warned not to leave their apartment on May Day. This riot however, took a more ominous turn with the targeting of Paris’s landmarks and the destruction of everything in sight. The Eiffel Tower looking like it was ablaze was a sign of a very frightening cultural sign that these immigrants think that Paris belongs to them and that they can burn it down if they choose to do so. Now with the World Cup just around the corner, will they try to break in and destroy The Lourve just let off some steam? I hope not ,but with Macron in charge and the police not exactly handling the last riot very professionally, anything is possible.
