The Week in Memes – Lost Angeles Edition

Welcome to another Week in Memes! The race for mayor of Los Angeles has taking a predictable turn as post-election ballots have once again poured in and turned the tide against the Republican. Hugo Chavez looks up from hell and proclaims “attaboy” to the leftist corruptocrats who run LA single-party system.

But before we get into that, let’s look at the weirdest Nazi since Mel Brooks’ “Springtime for Hitler”. As we’ve mentioned before, the outrage for Elon’s Hitler salute proved to be performative outrage.

Maine Democrat candidate for Senate, Graham Platner has a bottomless closet of skeletons that keep falling out. He said some … things. Although we’d rather not repeat them, we’ll let you figure it out if you choose to go down this dark path.

In other happenings last week, Scott Pelley and his enormous ego were shown the door this week at 60 Minutes.

And now he has plenty of time to join the “Dogs Playing Poker” crowd.

Britain is a mess having prioritized fighting racism over trivial little things like policing crime. It culminated in how Henry Nowak’s murder was handled by the cops (I’m providing a link for background but the story itself is too sad and infuriating for TWIM).

On to the main course!

The Los Angeles mayoral race is going swimmingly. As of today, Sunday, June 7 third place mayoral candidate, Nithya Raman is now overtaking Spencer Pratt thanks to so many ballot drops.

Grab Bag!

Wait? Where’s your weekly Marco? Sadly, Marco has taken the week off. No doubt he’s getting some much needed R ‘n’ R but we’re confident that he’ll be back soon

Meanwhile …

Madonna is still performing.

This weeks’ Amazing AI features The “A” Team rescuing many critical moments in cinematic history.

Where’s my nerds at?

Let’s close with a reminder that it’s allergy season. Be careful out there.

We’ll see you next week!

Hey Gordon! It was a very busy weekend and Monday,so I am finally getting a chance to enjoy your TWIM .The Democrats sure know how to pick them. Your hilarious description of Graham Platner was spot on. What he said about what he was going to do someone breaking into his house should disqualify him from public office. This guy has issues, but the sad part is he’s going to probably going to win the party’s primary anyway. Scott Pelley’s firing from CBS came as no surprise. The fact that he reamed his bosses out in a meeting, recorded it and then sent the audio to the New Yourk Times to make himself look like some journalistic martyr,is astounding. He sure loves him, some him. Then ,in an interview days later by THE NY Times he said it never occurred to him that he would be fired. Wow! I hear Rachael Maddow is trying bring him on board at MS NOW. My heart hurts for the people of Britain.. Our family is from Manchester which is completely unrecognizable due to influx of immigrants. The only hope is a Restore Britain and Rupert Lowe win to rectify this disaster. Well, there’s been a lot of “trickeration” going on in California with the mail in ballots and of course ,it cost Spencer Pratt a spot in the Mayor’s race which was no surprise. When you have people out on Skid Row being signed up and 126 yr olds (reported by Nick Shirley) voting, things are going to go to sideways. All of the memes were hilarious. A great Grab Bag. Marco needs a week off once in a while. Madonna. Oh boy! I’m shocked she wasn’t circling the stage in a flaming Rascal scooter during “Like A Prayer”. Between the plastic surgery and butt implants it’s not a pretty sight. I absolutely loved the A-Team AI video. It was so cool! That administrator meme wasxa good one. This time of the year,I am suffering with the allergies. I hate it. Sorry I’m so late with my comment. This was another great TWIM and I always enjoy your wicked sense of humor which is just as funny as the memes. Thanks Gordon!
