Meet the Professor of Rock

If you’re a fan of rock and pop music of the last 50 years and you don’t know who the Professor of Rock is, do yourself a favor and get to know him. Adam Reeder is his name and he started as just a guy who loves music and does deep deep dives into artists, albums and trivia.

He may have started out small, but as I’ve been following the channel, he has gotten to the point where he gets to interview the giants he admires so much. This is every rock nerd’s dream come true.

Here’s a taste.

Fun, nostalgic and and educational, no?

And interview with Alan Parsons! What?

What music podcast worth its salt would be complete without a Weird Al post (or two).

He has gained the attention of another podcaster who may have heard of: David Letterman. His podcast will be the topic of another one of my rambling posts. Anyway, Letterman is a fan this is a great interview.

Sadly, Reeder seems too kind for the music industry, which brutalizes him while repeatedly shooting themselves in the foot with repeated copyright strikes. Whether he continues his channel is in question at the moment. Also, as you may have heard, Don Henley is kind of a dick.

Anyway, let’s end this on a high note. Did you hear the one of the Jewish goat farmer that wrote a one-hit wonder about Jesus?
