Welcome to the Midweek Memes! We have some good news and some bad news.
First the bad news: Canadian-American relations are at an all time low. As the trade war rages on, the war of rhetoric gets ever more heated.
Now to the good news: Canadian Prime Minister Carney dunked on Trump and his meme game and, well, he kind of set himself up. Here’s Carney. Just watch.
He’s serious and his gripe is understandable, but you can hear the rake being stepped on when he says “stop doing the memes”. You know what comes next.
MEMES!
You think this is some kind of game?
Why yes, yes it is!
Even the Canadians are getting in on it!
If you don’t understand the above AI, it’s a mockery of the very mockable Finnish government’s No Touch dance that is supposed to let the rapists know that raping is bad. What you’re about to watch is not an intentional joke.
And here’s your weekly Amazing AI.
NOTE: No Canadians were hurt in the making of this post. I was just in Canada and the people there are truly lovely.
OK, hope that tides you over until TWIM!
Hi Gordon! I hope you had a fantastic vacation. I’ve been to Canada and there are some lovely people up there. We went to see a improv show right before The Second City in Toronto closed (A sad day. So many comedy legends came from there). Mark Carney sure stepped in it when he made his remarks about the memes. Talk about throwing down the meme gauntlet. He has no idea what he’s unleashed. These memes are so funny and I hope that they’re getting under Carney’s skin. When anime and South Park get involved you’re in trouble. The Battle for Lake America game was terrific. The mangina meme and Carney in the pink “you know what”hat were hilarious. I don’t know which dance video was crazier. Either way,it’s not going to work. The only thing that’s going to stop that is a loaded weapon and an industrial sized wood chipper. Problem solved. Loved the Amazing AI. That was spectacular. A great MMD with your great sense of humor to get us over the hump. Thanks Gordon!
