Here’s my pick for quality TV for you. Band of Brothers: Legacy. It starts airing today on HBO Max. This show has arrived just in time as far as I go. It’s a look back at the filming of the HBO series Band of Brothers which hopefully you’ve also watched. And I would be remiss if I didn’t tell you to please read the book that its based on, You’ll never guess the name of the book, yeah, Band of Brothers by Stephen Ambrose. It’s fantastic.

I could do a whole post on the book alone, but that will have to wait for another day. It is the story of a group of strangers who come together under incredibly stressful circumstances and forge a bond. And what’s more? It’s a true story. Just amazing.

Now HBO is looking back at the show after 25 years and I plan on watching. To see how they did it. How the cast and crew did their jobs of bringing this story to the screen. The timing couldn’t be better. We’re coming up on the anniversary of Sept 11th. There’s another round of BS in Iran. The world seems out of whack. So, somebody please just give me a story of some good people trying to do the right thing. That’s what hope we’re getting with Band of Brothers: Legacy.
